Children’s day habilitation services is focused on maximizing the child’s level of functioning, skill development and minimizing inappropriate behaviors utilizing the families natural supports.

WHAT ARE DAY HABILITATION SERVICES?
|
|
Day habilitation services for Maine Care eligible children that have been diagnosed with mental retardation and/or autism.
Serving ages: 3—20 years of age
Habilitation specialists will work one on one with your child in his/her home and community setting.
Skill training is taught based on the child’s individualized need.

Creative Innovations, Incorporated is an organization formed and owned by Ms. Ronnie Lowell. She is a single mother raising her 16 year-old son, Tyler who was diagnosed with Mental Retardation and Autism. She has ten years of experience as a professional working with children and their families. Having faced many challenges and overcome many obstacles, she has gained wisdom, knowledge and experience that she is ready to share in support of families and individuals with achieving their dreams.

Tammy Finnan is a Program Manager at Creative Innovations, Inc. She has been with the company since 2006 and started as a Habilitation Specialist. Tammy has worked with children ranging in age from six weeks to twenty-one years old, with disabilities for over twelve years. She is working on a Bachelor Degree in Social and Human Services at The University of Maine at Augusta.

Jessica Therrien is a Program Manager with Creative Innovations Inc. She has worked as a Habilitation Specialist for years working on goals to meet each individuals needs from community inclusion, socially acceptable behavior, motor skills, daily living skills, to become independent for their future. Jessica enjoys working with children of different abilities of all ages and needs. She is currently enrolled in classes for Mental Health Rehabilitation Technician/Community

Certification at Amethyst Training and is working towards her Bachelors Degree in Social Services.
|
|
|
|
Brenda Frey comes to Creative Innovations with years of experience working in the office setting. She also has 2 years experience working with direct care as a Habilitation Specialist. She is responsible for the smooth operation of the day-to-day business of the company. Brenda is currently working on getting her recertification in Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (CPI) and CPR.
